We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for another inspiring edition of the π-oneers Conference, and especially to Professor Philippe Michel  for his fascinating talk on “Applied Étale Cohomology.”

Professor Philippe brilliantly showcased how étale cohomology, often viewed as an abstract concept, plays a powerful role in solving real problems in arithmetic geometry and number theory. The talk was both accessible and profound—leaving us with new insights and plenty to reflect on.
